lady magpie is nadire omer’s jeweler alter ego. the name chose her since she is an honorary magpie in her real life. she is naturally attracted to small, shiny objects which she showcases as pieces of jewelry. a great nature lover, she works as much as possible with natural and eco friendly materials.
her concept uses her most recent finds. the collection of minutia includes natural beauties but also a few beautiful objects hand made by herself or by fellow jewelers and friends.
the porcelain pieces and the polar bear are from her kai collection. the fox is a brooch from the owls are not what they seem collection. and the lace earring are from the soon available online bridal line.
i confess that i do some gathering myself. i’m always bringing home lots of sea shells, found little toys or pine cones. this is something i could do myself – i already have some material!
