day 6 – noiraigue and chaux de fonds was a very hot day. we decided to spend it in the woods rather than in zurich and it was not a bad idea!

day 6 - noiraigue and chaux de fonds

before we left in the morning, the french alps were visible from our neuchatel balcony since the weather was quite clear.

the day was getting hotter but the proximity of the river and of the forest helped a lot.

we went through the gorges de l’areuse, which lie between noiraigue and champ du moulin. bellow, you have the beautiful pont du saut de brot.

we finally reached boundry. we found the tram and we took it to neuchatel. the last leg of the tram trip was along the lake neuchatel shore.

we had dinner in nearby chaux de fonds. the neuchatel lake is visible in the distance. since the altitude was higher, the temperature was cooler so we had a great time.
