BOOKS
1. i’ve just finished vanishing world by sayaka murata. i like her style, i read 3 other books by her. is this sci-fi? she creates a whole new world just to deal with her mother-wound and the way the society imposes having babies to a woman.
2. i’ve been reading night people by mark ronson. the writing is a bit flowery, but definitely cool. i enjoyed reading about nightlife fauna. I recommend it.
MAGAZINES
3. the cover girl for british vogue is margot robbie. the pictures are in the vein of wuthering heights, her recent film in which she acts alongside fellow aussie jacob elordi.
MUSIC
4. i like 2 out of the 3 remixes released by idles recently.
5. i don’t know why flaco uses punk rock as a costume. i’m keeping my eye on him. i like the song, it’s different.
6. i fell into a tatu hole. i found that julia’s face surgery has to do with having her jaw broken in 3 places by her ex-husband. he’s a high ranking russian mafioso ew. she also had a cancer surgery. the doctors cut her vocal cords by mistake.
i still love young julia.
7. i listened a lot to these two wos duos.
8. kim gordon has a new single out, not today. the direction is by the rodarte sisters kate and laura mulleavy.
9. tea in the sahara by the police is a blast from the past. i still love it.
FILMS
10. i re-watched mulholland drive by david lynch in a cinema. i went home to find out online that i missed a lot of the meaning. it’s ok.
11. i decided to watch the 3h long o agente secreto by kleber mendonca filho. wagner moura is great, watch out for udo kier and a literal two-faced cat.
the film and wagner have already got a bunch of awards. the films could get best foreign film at the oscars. it’d be the second brazilian film in a row.
TV SERIES
12. season 5 of emiliy in paris starts off in rome and then moves back to paris. it’s fun, but cartoonish, just like the other seasons.
13. feride is a turkish animation about a young woman living her life in istanbul. weirdly, the series was written by a man.
14. i binged the 15 episodes of the first season of the pitt. the second season has just started.
not the best show, but stimulating enough.
15. i didn’t know i needed a hot gay hockey series in my life until i found canadian hit heating rivals. i loved it! my algorythm is now 100% hr lol.
i was pretty schocked to find out that connor (who played ilya) is not russian. he did amazing with the language and the maneurisms. i liked the soundtrack, too. they used tatu and wet leg for the queer vibes.
why do i think the show is such a phenomeon? because the kisses look real! also, because the book was written by a woman. i obviously can’t wait for 2027 to bring the second series. just fyi, there will be a third series, too.

17. i listened to john oliver laugh with trevor noah for one hour or so.
STAND-UP COMEDY
18. this is my first stand-up comedy show. i liked paradise gothic by sri-lankan vidura bandara rajapaksa. both the tone and the delivery were perfect.
YOUTUBE
19. the best ramen is 2 hours away from tokyo. alvin made another great video. check it out!
20. i loved the japanese truckers who allowed paolo to join them. very cool!
21. i dream of visiting a yuzu orchard in bloom. or maybe at harvest time.
