february 2024 finds is here. i posted sooner than usual because i’m off to the airport.

1. el ultimo sueno by pedro almodovar is a selection of old stories. some were interesting, some were not necessarily new. you’ll probably like the book if you are a fan.

2. the march issue of vogue uk was the last edited by edward enninful. my favourite article was zadie smith writing about spring cleaning her wardrobe.

3. i saw idles live and it was the highlight of the month! their new tour started in porto and their high energy matched the wild audience.

4. you should listen to their new album, tangk. it has a bunch of bangers.

5. directia 5 did an album called seductie in 1993, with vocal toni seicarescu. i could not forget these two songs.

6. from 1994, here’s loredana featuring directia 5. loredana was in charge of the lyrics and the 2 guys from directia 5 did the music.

7. i discovered myslowitz 1,000 years ago, on mtv. i post the two versions: english and polish. so good!

8. i fell for mecano back in the beginning of the 2000s, when i was studying spanish. this is probably my favourite.

9. deftones had a release show for their white pony album, back in 2000. i loved watching the video.

10. i enjoyed watching pete doherty speak freely about his life. please ignore the first interviewer, he’s just asking away, regardless of context. also, check out the new the libertines album.

11. i fell into a big kid cudi hole for some reason. here are a few videos of him speaking, in chronological order. i like listening to people talking about their creative process.

also, my three favourite tracks.

he has a new album out, insano, but it’s rather meh. also, he’s starting a new tour that includes europe.

12. alvaro siza designed a new wing for the serralves museum in porto.

13. i missed yoshitomo nara‘s aomori exhibition. but i will go and see the one in guggenheim bilbao this summer.

14. this is an interesting talk about masculinity. i know non-binary athlete griffith from insta and he is as sassy as expected.

15. grayson perry is a tranvestite turner prize winner artist. he investigates masculinity with his 2016 3-part series called all man. it’s a very interesting watch.

16. i know joao vicente de castro from porta dos fundos. i was surprised by his cool house.

17. if you don’t know who amanda lear is, watch this.

18. nicolas ghesquiere is a quiet fashion genius. i first went to paris in 2002 and i remember my mind being blown by the window of the balenciaga store. he did an amazing job to revive the house, it’s such a pity that his work was now replaced by hype trash.

how was your february? find me on insta, i’m off to sevilla.
