february 2026 finds is here!

BOOKS
1. i’ve only finished one book this month: i want to die but i want to eat tteokbokki by baek sehee. unfortunately, she did die last year, at only 35. the book contains her encounters with her psychiatrist, in her attempt to deal with depression. i found the book weak and hard to finish.
on the other hand, reddit is right: the book was a clear scream for help which she never received. Nothing was confirmed with regards to the cause of death, but imagine if she was asking the whole world for help and never got it. super sad.
when i googled her book, the first thing that popped up was a helpline website. i hope it’s useful for the people who need it.
MAGAZINES
2. in february, gisele pelicot published her memoirs. british vogue did a good interview with her in this month’s issue. but the cover went to a young model.
