ice cream is one of those things that everybody loves.

in my travels, i came across some funny tasting and looking kinds of ice cream.

in copenhagen, i tried lakrids (liquorice) and bubble gum (it had a lovely artificial shade of blue). in japan, a few kinds of the local haagen dazs only to find out that the very alluring green tea kind barely had any sugar/sweetener in it.  and, of course, the roman gelato…they had many, many delicious kinds but nothing too eccentric!

anyway, that’s how my mind got stuck on this possibility of making ice cream of anything…i’ve been researching for a special flavour to start making my own and i was overwhelmed by the choice…i think i’ll narrow it down to black sesame, licorice or wasabi. i’ll keep you posted!
