today, my two cents about local dermatocosmetics brand ivatherm as i want to let you guys know about more romanian success stories that are on my list.
they were founded in 2005 and they use as their main active ingredient thermal water from a well-known romanian source – baile herculane. they focus on products designed for sensitive skin and they manufacture in france – they tried to do it locally at first but the products, even if indeed cheaper, were not of an acceptable quality.
i have been using their micellar lotion, a cool make up removing water. i have been using several versions of it before and i must tell you i’m fully satisfied by the ivatherm product: it does the job without stinging my eyes and it also smells nice. the value for money is a bit better than for the other comparable brands so i decided that it’s better to choose my co-national company.
i’ve also been using the spf 25 milk. i like the nice smell (that never hurts, right?) and i like it that it spreads easily and seamlessly. i use it probably daily nowadays when i go out, as our summers are really hot and sunny and i think my skin needs all the help it can get. the packaging is a bag friendly 150 ml. not my regular beach-sized value bottles, but i can see the advantage of a smaller tube.
with a great graphic identity and a thorough online presence, the brand makes it easy for the customer. thus, i’m always up to date with the latest offers (check out the online store for special price goodies) and content. for now, the online store only ships in romania but they aim to expand to international level.
i asked why are they not developing a line of deodorants. they said they were interested in widening their product range but the timing is not right just yet. i’m keeping my fingers crossed!
thank you, ivatherm! keep up the good work!
