japanese flowers are famous around the globe for their beauty and variety. browsing through pictures of my recent trip to japan, i realized i have hundreds of pictures of flowers. it’s so easy: they are so beautiful and literally everywhere!
i couldn’t choose favourites if i wanted!Â
i have no idea if these rainbow-coloured roses are natural. they were on sale in a florist shop in aoyama, tokyo.
a wonderful surprise: mid may sakura shower in towada.
this bright sea of azaleas is in hakone. hotel de yama had the wonderful idea of cultivating and grooming azaleas on the slope overseeing the lake in front of their building. i was lucky to be there in june: high azalea season!Â
the following set of pictures were taken on one of the many islands in the inland sea: teshima.
and the next series is from teshima: another inland sea island.
a friend’s mother has great taste in flowers. but this cute arrangement of carnations were the only cut flowers. her balcony is full of blossoming plants!
these two beautiful orchids were growing in taipei: the tropical weather is just perfect for them!
well, do you like my japanese flowers? do you have any favourites?
