BOOKS
1. i read cartea depresiilor in romanian. it’s a collection of personal stories by contemporary romanian creatives, coordinated by marius chivu. i liked it.
2. i iwas surprised how easy it was to read le picollo principe by antoine exupery in italian.
3. yellowface by rebecca f. kuang is as meta as meta gets. it’s about writing and publishing books, including the one we’re reading. absolutely recommended, i ate it up in two sittings.
4. tokyo. picollo atlante edonista is a book with great text by johann fleuri and great photos by pierre javelle. i read it in italian and i am not sorry i carried the 1.3 kilos home from bari.
5. i’ve been going through enciclopedia calcarea by zerocalcare in italian. as the title suggests, it’s an encyclopedia of all the characters featured in the zerocalcare fumetti. i’m loving it!
6. rich dad, poor dad by robert t. kiyosaki is not a great literary achievement. but it is a 27-year old best seller because of the financial education it offers.
7. i think this video review of neuromancer belongs here. i read the book and i didn’t get it. this guy says the same, but a lot more. it’s worth checking out.

8. nusar3000 was smart to collab with israel fernandez, he sounds amazing.

PODCASTS
13. i enjoyed a few episodes from the fantastic stories by mandarin oriental hotel group. i liked the wish by alexandra shulman, the ex-editor in chief of british vogue. and my favourite was a night in nihonbashi by william boyd.
14. i was able to watch the rosalia and nick cave episodes of tetragrammaton by rick rubin. interesting.
15. margaret zhang is leaving vogue china to have a baby and for other adventures. among others, she did a leadership course at harvard. so i started listening to the podcast she had with yiling pan called good morning, vogue china. each episode exists in english and chinese. i recommend the episodes featuring anna wintour, kim k. and c-beauty.
TV SERIES
16. season 3 of the bear was probably the weakest season so far. it featured noma and its founder, rene redzepi. let’s see how the 4th season it’ll turn out, it was just confirmed.
17. questo mondo non mi rendera cattivo is the second netflix show by zerocalcare. it’s good!
18. i watched the first season of owning manhattan for real estate and cattiness.
YOUTUBE
19. i’ve just come back from italy and i’ve been trying to improve my italian. so i’m watching italian content with italian subtitles. it works!
20. this madrid house, wow! what about that library!?
21. also, diplo‘s house from jamaica. he has a library. and vinyls, too!
22. this is an interesting video about ice cream making in the far past.
