london 2016 part 2 is a few more dozens of pictures from my recent trip.
i’ll start with a sunset pic of the millennium bridge. you can see tate modern on the left side of the thames and st. paul’s cathedral on the right side.
our hotel is featured twice in this post since i was struggling to get a good pic.
the barbican center was kinda close to my hotel so i managed to go twice. i tried to reach the conservatory but apparently it can only be visited on sundays. so i’ll have to come back.
this is somewhere in mayfair. I was looking for galleries and finding them closed: it happened 3 times that day! it was a very unproductive saturday.
this is the manolo blahnik store in the burlington arcade. i like this polka dots series.
on my way to tate modern, i walked by the buckingham palace.
this is tate britain. it was super crowded so i did not have the best time.
we had dinner at fish! in borough market. the meal was nice and i really liked the atmosphere.
this is the shard as seen from the london bridge.
this is 20 fenchurch street. it’s called the walkie-talkie and on top of it there’s the famous sky garden.
and there’s the lloyd’s building in the nice afternoon light.
i went to the hampstead heath for the first time and i was not sorry. we had lunch in the area and then just laid back (literally) and enjoyed the great weather and the kites. great place to relax!
from there, we walked all the way to little venice. the weather was great so we enjoyed the long walk.
you can see the little venice pictures in the following post. stay tuned!
