BOOKS
1. i finished sociopath, a memoir by patric gagne, phd. it’s and easy, interesting read if you’re into introspection. i recommend watching the video i posted at point 61 in this post.
2. i also read world press photo 2025. with a double arm amputee gazan boy on its cover, expect to be heartbroken.
MAGAZINES
3. the current issue of british vogue has dua lipa on the cover. the theme is weddings so it was not my cup of tea, but i like dua, she seems down to earth and hard working.
MUSIC
4. charli xcx sang cherry blossom girl live with air recently. have you noticed the brat green light?
5. this qualifies here, right? after this, i wish i met little sims.
she has been an unexpected fashion girlie. she’s a real life prada ambassador and i find that very appropriate. in young, she wears margiela punk tabis and verity lane westwood-style outfit. cool.
6. pulp is back with a bang(er)! the new album called more was launched on june the 6th.
also, they rocked glastonbury. jarvis is 61!
7. suede the new album called antidepressants will be out on september the 5th.
8. i listened to the new sofie isella album called i’m camera. unfortunately, meh.
9. rubel has a new album called beleza. mas agora a gente faz o que com isso?. he promised it’s like casas and pearl. he’ll be touring at the end of the year, i’m hoping to see him again live.
10. julian is the strokes, creatively, since he did all the music and lyrics. here’s a glimpse into his process.
11. fontaines dc were in town for primavera sound, i saw their names on festival kids t-shirts downtown. if you don’t know them yet, look into them!
12. punk is not dead while amyl and the sniffers are around.
13. i liked this set by belarussian molchat doma.
EXHIBITIONS
14. i went to lisbon and saw the paula rego exhibition at cam as well as grandes obras, a best of of gulbenkian’s archives. recommended.
15. we drove to nearby vila nova de famalicao for another paula rego exhibition. worth it!
16. arco lisboa is an art fair we went to recently. interesting but the 20+ ticket was not necessarily worth it.
17. but at arco, i was told about julian opie‘s exhibition in braga. we went to the duarte sequeira opening, it was definitely worth it.
18. if i was in seoul, i’d go and see this ron mueck exhibition. i saw most of the pieces on show, but not all.

21. i’ve been watching the new episodes of and just like that. carrie has the worst outfits and the storylines are at an all time low…
