momondo is a denmark-based search engine for flights and hotels. for maximum reach, their website is conveniently available in 18 languages. momondo

i have recently attended a travel event where i met the brand’s international online marketing manager, kasper engelheim hove. he spoke about the mobile and tablet versions of the site.

during the break, we talked a little about the launch of his brand in romania. he wanted to see a local skateboard park, but unfortunately  it was raining. so i recommended him a few hot spots so he could make the best of his time in town.

momondo copenhagen

i received a very cool noma + momondo guide of copenhagen, their home city. it includes restaurants, bars and all the other favourite spots of noma’s staff. this cute little booklet holds the city’s best kept secrets. i only wish i had it when i was in town!

click here and here for excerpts and here to buy it.

momondo fiskebar

i compared momondo with two of its competitors, expedia and kayak. i searched flights for march 2014, for london, tokyo and new york. in all three cases, momondo came up with the lowest prices.

what do you say, will you give it a try while doing research for your future travels?
