MOOD BOARD NO 23

mood board no 23 was expected since i have recently come back from a very short trip to belgium. i was meaning to go with no other plan but the marching church concert but i ended up having little free time. things happened and that was great!

for some reason, i have 4 pages encouraging more travel, to the 4 cities of amsterdam, buenos aires, tbilisi and tokyo.

also, a few celine ads. they have been consistently good for so many years. the juergen teller+phoebe philo is top.

right below you have a poster for an exhibition at the design museum in ghent. i was invited to the official opening by one of my 2 local friends. we had a good time!

the black and white drawing is a gift from my friend oana lohan. it features the parachute tower, a landmark of bucharest and, more specifically, of vatra luminoasa, the neighbourhood i grew up in and she used to live in.

i discovered this japanese flower magician azuma makoto in the current cos magazine. he’s behind the breath-takig flowers-in-ice arrangement you maybe saw on the dries van noten catwalk. i’m already following him on insta.

two maps of ghent, the city where i spent most of my time. the one on the right is marked with my walking routes. and the one on the left is a very useful street art map – great idea!
