this my alternative christmas tree!! do you remember how i went on and on about how i don’t like waste and real christmas trees?
well, i thought that i should put my money where my mouth is so i upcycled.
yep, i took a calendar that was given to me as a gift years ago and used it to make my own alternative christmas tree. i lined it with a string of christmas lights and i pinned the whole thing into place with regular pins.
the base is my  styrofoam wall so the “tree” can also be called my mood board update no. 9. sic!
i’m pretty happy with how my thrifty christmas tree turned out. it may not smell like the forest, but i was not involved in any wasteful purchasing or reckless tree cutting.
happy holidays and lots of love, everybody!

That is really good! I saw a lot of alternative DIY christmas trees over the holidays, but this one is by far the most “doable.”

i’m glad you like it: it was a conscious effort to make it doable 🙂
