new camera + girl stuff was my to do list for today.
i went out in the rainy and cold november weather to get myself a new camera. and i did: it’s a canon power shot s200. i got an extra battery and a neoprene pouch, too. now i am all kitted out for my upcoming trip.
and since i was out already, i bagged a few girly things as well. i got the current issue of vogue uk. i’ll get back to you with my highlights asap, as usual!
then, i tried two of l’oreal’s pure reds and took home one. blake’s red is a red red, without much blue or yellow in it. and it’s matte. i tried mac’s russian red, too but i didn’t buy it in the end. for now, i declare myself pleased with this one.
i also bought something i had been fearing for years. i got my first felt-tip eyeliner. i even tried it out: i managed decent shapes but they were completely different for the two eyes… i guess i need lots of practice, right?
my final purchase was a 4-sided buffer. i remember i got my first in a shop in denmark, years ago. this seems to be much better. use it properly and you’ll get a set of nails smooth and shiny like glass. total game changer, i’m telling you!
