1. the only printed thing i read this month was the current british vogue issue with saoirse ronan on the cover.

2. as a life-long deus fan, i enjoyed watching time is the state of my jeans: the making of worst case scenario.
3. so here you have a 1997 deus gig.

5. i like the marias and i liked their tiny desk gig.
6. but the huge surprise of the month were argentinians ca7riel & paco amoroso. i found them by chance, i tried to hate their tiny desk, but i failed. i love it and i loop it! :)
their regular catchy trap sounded sophisticated with the jazzy orchestration.
i felt like i had to listen to their work, solo albums included. they only have one album together, bano maria from 2024.

9. this definitely belongs here. byelorussian band molchat doma introduces us to their eclectic style. i’m sorry to miss their upcoming gig in porto.
10. sylvie kreusch has a new album called comic trip.
11. i came across this song in a local cafe. it features akira and it made me listen to the whole album, a place between us by argentinian okvsho. well worth it!
12. i listened to the new cure album, song of a lost world, of course.
13. apparently, primal scream also have a new album. it’s called come ahead.

14. i liked the tetragrammaton talk rick rubin had with merlin sheldrake.
15. i’ve been on a the art angle roll. i liked the episodes about the real basquiat story, the art fraud feud of the century and the one about museums vs patrons.
FILMS
16. i saw constantine by francis lawrence again, blocked in a hotel room. it was good enough: keanu with a calm voice, gavin rossdale as a suited demon and tilda swinton as a breast-bound non-binary angel.
this is one of the songs on the soundtrack, passive by a perfect circle.
