my love and interest for korean cosmetics is well-documented. i have been keeping my eyes on this super happening industry ever since i visited south korea 2 years ago and discovered an unbelievable wealth of products.
so you can understand how i felt when i was contacted for a collaboration with a new website dedicated exclusively to korean cosmetics.
i was happy to receive their package and i couldn’t wait to try the products. the box also included a handful of samples, as it is the customary.
i opened the purito snail all in one bb cleanser first. snails are probably the most controversial and quintessential korean ingredient! but please don’t expect the respective products to be slimy. they have regular formulas and one special active ingredient.
the 250 ml bottle has a clever on/off system for the pump for easy and spill-free transport. i used the product as indicated: i massaged my face with it for one minute and then rinsed with water. it left my face thoroughly clean and it felt properly moisturized. the smell is nice and clean, too. my face felt a little too clean after the first use so i tried being less thorough the following time. my dry skin thanked me! so, be warned: adjust the time you spend washing your face to your skin type. the box says it is especially made for bb cream users, so you may want to keep that in mind.
the purito snail clearing bb cream has spf 38, comes in a 30 ml bottle and fits all skin types. it promises to improve your wrinkles and the tone of your skin. it gives medium coverage, it spreads well and its scent is not overbearing. and, best of all, i have three bottles of bb cream to give away!
if you want your name on the short list, please follow these 3 simple steps and wait until february the 16th, when i will announce the lucky winners!
1. start following me on instagram.
2. download one of the pictures in this post.
3. upload it on instagram, use the the hashtag #littleaesthete, tag @little_aesthete and post it on your account. good luck!
since i was first contacted, i enjoyed myself browsing their website. you can filter by brand, by type of product, etc. i like the currently viewed feature on the right. and this is the conclusion of all my browsing, my top five!
* i like this gel eyeliner in smoky black. i’d love to try it!
* the no. 7 is a great-looking red. very cute!
* i’d love my own sheet mask set!
* i’m ready to try a nourishing cleansing oil.
* my no. 1 product is a great moisturizing cream!
these being said, i can also tell you that, as an intro pack, they have what’s called a lucky box. it’s a 8.80 usd/7.78 euro mystery box filled with plenty of samples meant to help you get an idea about your favourites. for the more advanced shopper, check out the free gifts you’re getting depending on the size of your order.
disclaimer: the products were provided by the e-tailer, but the opinions are 100% mine. i hope this was useful!
