taipei street art is not very generous. still i did my best to get enough stuff to help you get an idea of what street art is in taiwan’s capital city.
the main reason for the scarcity of pieces is the municipality’s current campaign against street art. the tag line is: grafitti is bad for your city’s image. also, the billboards encourage people to rat on street artists. sad…
still, i did come across some pieces. but you will notice that most are either commissioned or located in approved places.
i found most of these street art pieces in this artist commune called the treasure hill artist village.
