tokyo street art was plentiful. i came home with hundreds of pictures i then had to edit. here you have the first part of the selection.
the variety is mostly limited to stickers and paste ups. there were a few stencils and free hands. and spotting them all over town was a game in itself. a game i enjoyed!
i found this piece by los angeles-based artist chase.
i found a few murals, too. but given their complexity, accuracy and central location, i’m certain they are commissions.
