torino in 50 pictures is what i could see during our short stay. below, you have two pics from our turinese loft. i loved it: relaxed, amazing pressure shower and a tiny yard where i could watch the airplanes fly over me at night. we used airbnb exclusively this time around and i must say that we only had one bad experience and i think that’s decent for a 15-day trip. we only had about half a day for torino so we walked downtown in an effort to get a more comprehensive idea of the whole city not just of the center.
we looked for a semi-famous place for our late lunch. when we found it, it was closed. fortunately, we found an awesome hole in a wall tavola calda where we had fresh pasta and salmon. sapori di tassinari won many prizes and it was a dream meal for a very good price!
we climbed the turin cathedral tower. it was not as easy as it seems. but it was totally worth it!
this is mole antonelliana, the famous landmark of torino. we had no time left to climb this one too. maybe next time!
by chance, we came across what proved to be the best thing in town: an enoteca called magazzino 52. we bought two local wines and i was sorry we had already had dinner since it looked like the perfect place. next time!
