valencia in pictures part 3 is the final episode of my recent trip.
after i left the museo de bellas artes de valencia, i turned left into the parque del real.
then, i walked and walked until i reached this small park called jardi d’ayora.
this is the marítim-serrería metro station in cabanyal. cabanyal used to be a fishing village. now it’s a charming neighbourhood along the city’s beach, malvarossa.
a very cool piece by spanish street artist jc2.
i finally reached malvarossa beach right after the sun had set.
this is veles e vents.
le mary restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel. we had two diners there: it was empty and they were fast because we insisted to eat at 8, unlike all the locals.
monday morning at mercado central.
this is the horchata stand.
i loved this! the name of the street artist is arquicostura.
i like making furry friends and he was game!
cool sign for l’embaixada.
how cool is this hair saloon?
we had the fixed lunch set at ricard camarena’s canalla bistro. it was right around the corner from the chef’s michelin starred restaurant (i bet they share the kitchen). the food was great, i recommend the place.
the following 3 pictures are the museo de ceramica from the outside.
this is the last picture i took, right before leaving the hotel room for the airport. you can see la plaza de torros, the corrida arena.
the few days i spent in valencia helped a lot: i managed to detach myself completely from my everyday life. i usually have a hard time relaxing so such a break was more than welcome.
this was my valencia in pictures part 3 and i hope you enjoyed this series as much as i enjoyed the trip!
