my parents did at least one thing right: they raised me and my brother as kids, not as a girl and a boy: i was not encouraged to wear pink and want to become a ballerina and he was not taught how to fix things and how not to cry.
society raises women to be weak, submissive and pretty, not smart and strong. women and men are not regarded as equals. a woman must act as if she depends on the man, but those times are gone. in the past, a woman was passed on from her father to her husband, she had no right to vote or choose, etc. but, even in 2010, people have a hard time accepting this equality. the traditional point of view is difficult to shake. the only thing one can do is raise one’s children in a better way. check this!

Now it all starts to make sense…
And I start thinking that some people go beyond that separation line and thus we meet women with no femininity and men without balls

There’s always double standards for girls. So, do we now have the freedom to dress like prostitutes without being judged for it? And that begs the question, what the heck kinda freedom is that?

But on the other hand there’s nothing wrong with being naked! (re: those kids who were like, ew, when they saw the naked lady in the ad) It’s just the ads that make it on the one hand desirable, on the other disgusting. And we wonder why we have these chronic mental illnesses.
And I’d like to see one on boys POV, since I’m sure there’s pressure on everyone. Do they have to get abs at 5 y/o or what?
