vogue uk july 2014 is my delayed review of this month’s issue of the british magazine.

the theme of the issue is ageless. appropriately, the cover girl is 45-year old christy turlington. this is part of her revival. by chance, calvin klein is currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of eternity. christy is the star of the new campaign together with her real life husband, ed burns. it is not featured in this issue though. only the original ad is.

sasha pivovarova is 29 now. she is also making a comeback after taking some time off modeling to spend with her child. she looks as mesmerizing as ever.

last year, she was featured in a miu miu campaign together with her la vie d’adele colleague. now, leah seydoux graduated to being the prada candy florale girl .

i noticed this dress by stella mccartney. how perfect is it? i see the potential of wearing it for ever.

louis garrel is the new face of valentino uomo now that his visibility increased. why, you ask? he’s playing ysl’s lover in the upcoming biopic. but, for now, let’s watch the wonderful ad channeling rome during its cinecitta years.

there are many pages dedicated to reporting on the recent vogue festival. i love this picture of karlie kloss with the unique and wonderful grayson perry.

alexa chung was one of the guests of the festival. she said: clothes are about manipulations: how i feel, how i want to feel and how i want others to feel about me. i’m pleasantly surprised by her super accurate view!

there is an editorial featuring dree hemingway with some of  her family: mother mariel and sister langley.

an emanuelle alt profile telling us some of her secrets including her diet seemingly dissociated per weeks.

vogue chicopedia is crunching numbers. among others, it’s trying to convince us that buying ultra expensive stuff and wearing it for 70 years (!!) makes it reasonable. nice try!

i’m so sorry for publishing this now when you can no longer get this issue. i’ll try to do better next time!
